Who it’s for

Owners, operators, and marketing staff who want to run their own acquisition rather than depend on an agency to explain it. Covers organic visibility, paid social, and measurement. Google Ads is covered separately in Search Advertising Fundamentals.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Build and publish a Google Business Profile, and understand what drives local visibility
  • Research search terms and prioritise them by demand, difficulty, and what a click is worth
  • Set up and verify a tracking stack: GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and conversion events
  • Construct and run a paid social campaign with the right objective and audiences
  • Produce and test creative at volume, and read which concepts are actually working
  • Qualify leads before they reach your pipeline, and decide from the numbers whether to scale or stop

Curriculum

  1. 01

    Being found

Google Business Profile, local search, and the fundamentals that decide whether you appear at all.

  2. 02

    Keyword research & prioritisation

Find real demand, weigh difficulty against value, and choose what is worth competing for.

  3. 03

    The tracking stack

GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and conversion events, verified end to end rather than assumed.

  4. 04

    Paid social campaigns

Objectives, audiences, lookalikes, and budgets that clear the learning phase.

  5. 05

    Creative testing at volume

Build and run many concepts, and learn to read the result instead of guessing.

  6. 06

    Qualification & deciding

Filter leads before the pipeline, then judge cost per qualified lead against what a customer is worth.

Assessment & certificate

An on-site session. Competency is confirmed through a hands-on assessment: each participant launches a live campaign with conversion tracking verified end to end, then presents a read of the first results against a cost-per-qualified-lead target, assessed against a published checklist. Certificate of completion provided.
