Terms & Refund Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Enrolment & booking
These terms apply to training programs booked with Brydge Academy. A booking is confirmed once we’ve agreed a date, program, and participant count in writing (email is fine) and any required deposit is received.
Programs are delivered in-person, on-site at your location, unless otherwise agreed.
Fees, tax & payment
Program fees are quoted per participant unless stated otherwise, and are exclusive of applicable taxes. The fee, minimum group size, and any travel costs are confirmed at booking.
Unless agreed otherwise, fees are due in full before training begins. Where a booking is being funded by a grant, you remain responsible for paying us in full; grant reimbursement is a matter between you and the funder.
Refunds & cancellations
If you cancel 10 or more business days before the scheduled date, any amount paid is refundable, less a reasonable administration fee.
If you cancel fewer than 10 business days before the scheduled date, fees are non-refundable, but we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule once at no additional fee.
If Brydge Academy cancels a session, you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled date.
Once a program has begun, fees are non-refundable.
Rescheduling & no-shows
You may reschedule a confirmed booking at no charge with at least 5 business days’ notice. Later changes, or participants who do not attend, may be charged in full.
Employer Training Grant
Some programs are designed to be eligible for the B.C. Employer Training Grant. Eligibility and approval are determined solely by the Ministry; we do not guarantee any grant outcome and cannot apply on your behalf. See our Funding page for details.
Certificates
Participants who complete a program and its assessment receive a certificate of completion. These recognise practical skills and are not academic degrees or diplomas.
Intellectual property
Course materials, slides, and templates we provide remain our intellectual property and are licensed to participants for their own internal business use. They may not be resold or redistributed.
No guarantee of results
We deliver training in good faith using current, practical methods. We do not guarantee specific business results, revenue, or outcomes, which depend on how skills are applied after training.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a program is limited to the fees paid for that program. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
